～ をはじめ

This can be used to  preface a list, and emphasize one thing(The best one/ most famous one, etc).

例　－

1．　日本には富士山をはじめきれいな山がたくさんある。

         (nihon ni wa fujisan wo hajime kireina yama ga takusan aru)

         (There are many beautiful mountains in Japan, including Fuji)

2．　私の家では父をはじめ、みんあが楽器を弾く。

         (watashi no ie de wa chichi wo hajime minna ga gakki wo hiku)

         (not only father,but also everyone of my house play music instruments )

3．　うちの会社では社長をはじめ、全ての社員が英語を話す。

         (uchi no kaisha de ha shachou wo hajime, subethe no shain ga eigo wo hanasu)

         (In our company, all the employees speak English including director)

4．　この大学には経済学部をはじめいろいろな学部がある。

         (kono daigaku ni wa keizai gakubu wo hajime iroiro na gakubu ga aru)

         (This university has a variety of faculties, including department of economics)
